I’ve updated this blog so it is now using the excellent WordPress platform – and it’s so clever it even allowed me to import my previous posts from the Blogger blog I was using before. Commenting is easier, and I have a lot more flexibility including categorisation of posts. My whole web site is a work in progress at the moment, but then so is everything I’m doing.
It betrays the fact that I need to get a job and get out more, but I’ve been on the Internet a fair bit lately – hence having time enough to set up a new blog just for the sake of it. Recent highlights have included the superb Ricky Gervais podcast, I’ve thought about learning Chinese, and I’ve been listening to a lot of music through Pandora, Download.com and Soma FM. There are some great films on the web as well, including the brilliant Yu Ming is My Name and the utterly profane swearing competition between George Bush and Tony Blair.
It’s also worth mentioning that you can get free kitchen knives here – Nick tipped me off, I was sceptical about it, but I got mine through the other day, and while they’re no Wusthofs, they’re pretty fine for eight quid P&P.
